Jan Thiel Curacao
Jan Thiel is a large tourist area on Curacao.
On Jan Thiel you will find a very diverse range of restaurants and a beautiful beach. At this beach there are excellent facilities for the perfect holiday. Relaxing on a beach chair or actively watching the wonderful underwater world of Curacao by snorkeling or diving.
Jan Thiel has a nature reserve ‘the salt pans’. Here you can walk, jog, ride a bike and admire the flamingos if you are lucky. The Caracas Bay is also worth a visit. The locals like to have bbq’s at the weekend with family and friends. Always cosy! In the neighborhood you will find several restaurants such as the Sea horse, the Pier, Pirates nest and Pop’s place which is known for its local charm and delicious dishes. From Jan thiel to the city Willemstad it takes around 10-15 minutes drive.
